I first started going to Dr. Ash after having hip, knee and ankle pain from cross fit type work outs.  I was in so much pain I wasn't able to work out.  He quickly identified where I was out of alignment and why I was in pain.  After a few adjustments I was able to start working out again with no pain!  I've been going to him regularly ever since to ease aches and pains and to stay well!

Both of my boys, Ben, 10 years old, and Griffin, 7 years old, play multiple sports and are very active.  Ben played hockey and pitches in baseball, and would come off the ice or off the mound with aches and pains and just feeling out of whack.  We started taking the boys to Dr. Ash too!  Now they both know when they're body needs to be aligned and they ask me to make them an appointment!

Until 12 years ago, I had never been to a Chiropractor, nor had I ever considered it. Ash Chiropractic was a banking customer of mine, so I knew Dr. Ash and Maryori personally. Then I had an issue that I decided to seek help for.

I was suffering from a tingling sensation in my left shoulder that went all the way down my arm to my thumb and index finger every time that I turned my head to the left. I went to see Dr. Ash, told him what was going on. He could see that I had lost a great deal of range of motion in my neck. He sent me to have an MRI. The result was that I had a bulged disc. 

Dr. Ash and I spoke about my options which were surgery, or a series of Chiropractic treatments. He told me that I should only opt for surgery as a last resort. He said that anytime that surgery is performed on the neck and spine, that there is only a 50% success rate. He said if the Chiropractic treatment didn’t work, that I could always have the surgery.

We started a series of decompression treatments and neck exercises with a utility ball on the back of my head up against a wall moving my head up and down and side to side. For the first month, I had treatments 3 times per week; the second month 2 times, per week; and the third month once per week.  

After the first month, I was starting to see improvements. My range of motion was improving, and the tingling began to lessen.  

Decompression of the neck is not an enjoyable exercise, but it was very effective. Within 6 months, the tingling had gone away. However, if I went more than 2 weeks without a treatment, I would begin to feel the tingling come back. Thus, I continued treatments for maintenance for several years, and then backed it down to once per month. Then in the Spring of 2016, I had a major car accident which was a major set back to all of the treatment that I had.

We started a series of decompression treatments on a weekly basis for 3 months, and then I integrated massage. Between the two, my neck and range of motion returned to what it had been prior to the car accident. 

For the past 2 years I have alternated each week between Chiropractic and Massage primarily for maintenance. I have a stressful job in which I sent in front of a compute for the majority of the day, and Chiropractic and Massage relieve the tightness in my neck and traps. I have integrated a procedure at Ash Chiropractic called Rapid Release. This treatment along with massage does wonders for reducing the tightness in my traps, and I highly recommend you try it. It works much better for me than stem work did.

I trust Dr. Ash and his wife Maryori, and highly recommend them to anyone that suffers from any kind of neck and back pain. They made a major impact in my quality of life, and they can probably do the same for you.

Back on Track

Took the time to find out what was going on through an interview and  examination.  Love that he warmed up my back before jumping into the  adjustment.  Gave recommendations for exercise as well as what not to do  while I'm healing.  Also, wanted me to get an x-ray just to make sure  there was nothing else going on.  This was my first visit at this office  although I'm a long time believer in chiropractic care.  I'll wait to  give a five star once I've seen the results of his work.  But so far, it  was good.

Best Medical Experience

By far the best medical experience I have ever had!  The support staff  is phenomenal - attentive, on the ball, super nice, and knowledgable.   The combination of adjustments from Dr. Ash, acupuncture from Kitara,  and myofascial release from Dr. Kearns not only quickly relieved some  serious shoulder/elbow pain, but it also left me with a wealth of  knowledge about the mechanics of good posture and weightlifting  techniques.  I can't say enough good things about Ash Chiropractic!

Excellent Service & Care

Today I received decompression therapy and an adjustment.  I was in an  extreme amount of pain in my arm and shoulder when I arrived.  They took  extra time to explain to me where my pain was originating from and what  I could do help it, and then proceeded to massage and apply pressure to  my problem areas.  They also applied an ice pack which helped  tremendously.  I left pain free.  I can't thank you enough for taking  the extra time to help relieve me of my pain!

Pain Relief

I wasn't looking for an appointment, I was in to get my IP products. I  was in pain from a recent move---back was sore and legs were sore and  arms were sore and I was really dragging. Got a quick appointment and  the guy spent an hour on me and I walked out without the pain for the  first time in a week! Yippee. Best thing was they did not try to get me  to commit to coming three times a week for the rest of my life like some  of them do.

Weight Loss

I have tried a number of ways to lose weight and Ideal Protein is by  far the best.  I received daily educational videos from Ideal Protein  that helped me to understand the real reason I had gained weight,  continued to gain weight, couldn't lose the weight and how to keep me  from falling into my old habits.  The other ways just helped you lose  weight but didn't teach you how to keep from gaining it all back.  One  of the other ways I actually gained weight. I thought I was eating healthy but I was wrong.  Ideal Protein helped me to develop healthy eating habits. The program got my body working at its best.  My yearly physical  and blood work was great.  My doctor was very pleased with all the  numbers from my blood work. The staff at Ash Chiropractic were wonderful.  They were all so encouraging. I of course think my couch, Jill Russell is AWESOME! She kept me  on track, let me know when my eating needed some tweaking, helped  educate me on how to stay healthy, and was very positive throughout the  process. I may have lost weight but I gained new friends and a healthier body.

As I have not been to a chiropractor in the past. Dr. Ash and his staff  went beyond my expectations. I would definitely recommend him.
